So glad Puerto Rico is being showed in a pod!
As a proud Puerto Rican I am happy to see a podcast about the culture and history. I myself didn’t grow up on the island but I always loved visiting family there. I really hope to learn more as I continue into the season and learn more about Puerto Rico.Thank you so much for making this!!! 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷

A lot of fun
Great show. I play it for my niece and nephew!

Excellent For Kids
Listened through season 1, which focuses on women/teachers. The premise of this reminded me of The Magic Treehouse books I read in elementary school. I think this would be a really enjoyable show if I was 8-13, but some of the dialogue provides a painstaking level of handholding for adult listeners (this is obviously written for kids or I'd have taken a star off the rating). The snippets of Puerto Rican history are interesting and the almost equal focus on the kids' present lives gives more weight to their adventures. The friendship dynamic between the kids is supportive and well-written. The voice actors give overall good performances.

Bruh

This show is so wonderfully produced & acted but I've fallen in love with its family adventure & how important it is to know your past to preserve & push its future & this show so deftly does all of this in one show; SUBSCRIBE now!

Yassss Amazing
This is sooooo cool. The actors seem so real
I remember the PBS kid's show 'Liberty's Kids' which tried to teach kids about the American Revolution AND that observing the history/world around them was important, and I remember thinking 'Why aren't there more shows like this?' It's an important concept, and people should run with it. In many ways, Timestorm does the same thing--but better in many ways. This is a show that teaches young people to value their history. It focuses on Puerto Rican heritage, too, which--as current events have emphasis--is completely ignored. So there's that lesson in there too. Socially, it's an important podcast, but it's also well done and enjoyable. Great for adults who just like podcasts as well as kids.

Awesome podcast
I love everything about it!

Love love love
My twin daughters and I absolutely adore this show. Adventures with kids that also deal with cultural history are extremely rare in the audio drama world (in any media honestly), but this show is perfect for entertainment and education for all ages.

Awesome show!
My daughters and I love this show!! Fun and adventurous and connects you with Puerto Rican history!

Can’t wait for season 2
Love this show and its unique blend of being both entertaining and educational. Our entire family is looking forward to season 2 in June.
A celebration of Puerto Rican history that makes it fun and engaging! The performances are outstanding, the writing is accessible and witty, and the sound design is incredible! Everyone should listen to this!

Educational, fun, and real
The premise of the show is a lot of fun. A couple of kids go on adventures through time, learning things about the past. The thing that kept me coming back was the way it brings Puerto Rican culture to the forefront. For the two main characters, the island is a place that their parents knew and their experience of it is second-hand. The show takes the idea of learning about your culture and your past to discover more about yourself and turns it into a fun, weird, kinda science fiction podcast that could just be a silly romp. But it isn't. It's also about the community surrounding the characters. It brings a life and a weight to the things they're learning and makes it real for the audience. Relief efforts for the hurricane Maria are a part of the story and ground the fantastical in the very, very real. This show is entertaining. It's educational. And it's important. I really wish kids everywhere had this kind of show to teach them about their own cultures and histories, and those of the others around them.

‼️‼️AMAZING‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Loving this new podcast, it's got my kids asking about our family history and heritage and also gaining an appreciation for another culture. Great storytelling and very well produced, a joy to listen to.
